Let me introduce myself.

My name is Aethon Austen. I originally qualified as an engineer, and spent a over a decade working for high end and international name organisations and consultancies, before following my inner voice and leaving to start a career in medicine. Having worked in both primary care and hospital medicine, I burned out, and gave up a career I loved to save my health.

As well as earning a number of undergraduate and masters degrees related to my careers, I also competed in long distance triathlon, marathons, developing coaching and training programmes for a number of athletes.

Running throughout this is a deep interest in team building and the psychology of performance, with the intent of finding the spark within each person that allows them to perform at their best repeatedly.

I started accountability engineer to offer my unique insight, coaching and skills to help people find, define and align themselves with their goals, and finally find satisfaction in their chosen paths, perhaps the best definition of success.
